Landlord services - our priorities

The Housing Section manages over 1250 houses, flats and bungalows within the Borough. There are also over 40 leasehold properties, which are flats or maisonettes that have been bought by tenants under the 'Right to Buy'.

 

Our aim is to be an excellent housing landlord. To acheive this, we must focus on what matters most to our residents. Our residents have told us that what matters to them most is:

1. a well maintained home that meets the resident's needs
2. being kept informed, where it matter
3. a safe place to live
4. being treated fairly and with respect
5. offer value for money
6. recognise that residents view us as one organisation - and not different sections
