What is a Local Development Scheme?
We have prepared a Local Development Scheme; it is a public statement which sets out the proposals for the preparation of a Local Development Framework for Oadby and Wigston which will replace the Oadby and Wigston Local Plan. The Local Development Scheme establishes a three year programme of work and identifies a number of milestones that we will aim to meet by March 2010.
The Local Development Scheme tells you:
-
The documents that make up the development plan in the borough
-
Where to find Planning Policies and information for the borough
-
The timescale for the production and review of the Local Development Framework
