What is the Local Development Scheme?
The Local Development Scheme is a public statement which sets out the proposals for the preparation of a Local Development Framework for Oadby and Wigston which will replace the Oadby and Wigston Local Plan. The Local Development Scheme establishes a three year programme of work and identifies a number of milestones that we will aim to meet by June 2013.
The Local Development Scheme tells you:

The documents that make up the Development Plan in the Borough
-
Where to find Planning Policies and information for the Borough
-
The timescale for the production and review of the Local Development Framework
