Overview
Oadby & Wigston Borough Council are looking to recruit a full-time Ratings and Recovery Officer to join our Revenues and Benefits team on a permanent basis. The role will be a split of home working, office based and visiting in the community. You will be part of a team in the Revenues and Benefits department with a focus on the accurate billing, administration and collection of Business Rates and Council Tax. Proven experience of working in a Revenues and Benefits environment is essential. Excellent communication skills will be vital to enable you to gather the information needed to accurately bill local businesses and residents.

Overview
Oadby and Wigston Borough council are looking for an ambitious and passionate IT professional to take up a role of Network Support Engineer. The role will be focused on supporting the Council with its IT Strategy, ensuring the Council’s network, systems and devices are consistently working, being maintained, secure and updated where applicable. You will work with project staff on delivering on corporate initiatives that have an IT impact and you will work alongside other IT professionals, where you will have the opportunity to learn our current network so you can make considered recommendations and improvement suggestions. You will help scope, plan and transition the IT/Network elements of projects for the Council. You will support a wide array of IT issues and emergency works as and when required, and will be someone who is willing to support and help junior members of the team. With a willingness to get involved, lead by example, and have support of senior staff, you will play a key role in the IT Team.
