Overview
Do you want to develop your career? We are looking for a talented individual to join us within our small Finance team. The Finance Team are responsible for all areas of income and expenditure of the Council, ensuring it is all accounted for accurately and efficiently. The Finance Manager will lead and develop the finance team providing comprehensive financial and accountancy services to support the Authority at a corporate level. They should have experience compiling the statutory year-end Statements of Accounts, a good understanding around capital and the sources of funding for a HRA and General Fund capital programme and knowledge of a typical council budget setting process and how to produce a council budget including the funding elements, Council Tax, NNDR, Government grants, Reserves and other income sources.
