Housing Inspector – Repairs and Voids

Salary: £34,314 - £37,035

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us within our Housing Team. We are responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance of the Council’s housing stock, delivering high-quality repairs and voids management services to our tenants.

The Housing Inspector (Repairs and Voids) will be responsible for undertaking a full range of repairs and void inspections, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The role involves inspecting properties, identifying defects, specifying required works, and managing the voids process to ensure properties are re-let efficiently. The role will also support the wider housing team in developing policies and strategies related to property management.

If you have experience in property management within a social housing context, knowledge of day-to-day repairs, void management, post-inspection processes, strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills, he ability to work flexibly and are able to prioritise workloads effectively we would love to hear from you.
