Community pantry and hygiene bank in South Wigston

If you or someone you know in Oadby, Wigston or South Wigston is struggling to make ends meet, the Pantry Nook might be able to help.

The Pantry Nook is a community pantry, different to a food bank, which aims to provide a week’s amount of food for £5 to help individuals and families ease their financial pressures.The Pantry Nook is based at Elliott Hall, Albion Street, South Wigston, LE18 4SA and is open from 10am - 1pm on Thursdays.

The Pantry Nook also offers a hygiene bank and a space for users to enjoy a chat and a hot drink, as well as find signposting for further support.

We're pleased to share that Oadby & Wigston Borough Council will be providing £5,000 of funding to the Pantry Nook, through UK Government funding.
