The borough council is a signatory to the Armed Forces Community Covenant and is proud of its long-standing association with the local Regular and Reserve Units in the borough, as well as the wider veteran and cadet community.
We regularly support events for the Armed Forces community in the borough and help local organisations to share information about their events for veterans - if you would like to be added to our mailing list to keep up to date with what's on, please reach out to communications@oadby-wigston.gov.uk or call (0116) 288 8961
The council's support for the Armed Forces is led by a Working Group made up of councillors and is chaired by Cllr Bill Boulter. For more information about the Working Group please contact armedforces@oadby-wigston.gov.uk
