Salary: £41,511 - £44,711 (plus £3,000 market supplement)

This Principal Development Control Officer post is a new role and will undertake an array of responsibilities, including (but not limited to): assisting the Planning Policy and Development Manager and existing Principal Development Control Officer in managing staff; act as Case Officer in managing a range of planning applications, including major and more complex planning applications; and, to provide professional “sign off” to the work of the Team.

If you have an extensive knowledge of planning matters, including procedures, legislation, best practice, national policy and legislation; you are able to communicate confidently at different levels; you have vast experience of working within a Development Control environment; and, you have experience of managing staff we would love to hear from you.
