Oadby & Wigston Borough Council is pleased to announce we have obtained membership to the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (Tpas) for 2022/23.
Tpas is England’s leading tenant engagement experts, they promote, support and champion tenant involvement and empowerment in social housing across England.
It will therefore be a vital resource for our housing officers and management team as we strive to improve our knowledge, skills and the quality of our housing service.

There are a number of benefits to our membership which include:
- Professional advice, support and guidance. Tpas offers us access to strategic, practical, and relevant information, tools, ideas and good practice to keep us fully informed about tenant engagement
- Access to the Tpas network which is made up of tenants and landlords working together. Tpas facilitate events, digital networking forums, Zoom meetups, polls, surveys, and more to create discussions and share learning across their networks
- Tpas empowers members to expand their housing knowledge, fine tune engagement skills and understanding the latest policy proposals. We can also now access webinars throughout the year and all are available ‘on demand’ in our dedicated resource hub
- Tpas members’ views and experiences are regularly represented at government level to shape the latest policy proposals and consultations affecting the tenant voice.
Tenants can access the Tpas member benefits by setting up their own username and password on the Tpas website.
