The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 do not require a local planning authority to submit the Authority Monitoring Report to the Secretary of State, however, does state that Councils should publish monitoring information on their websites as soon as practical, upon receipt of up to date information. Monitoring documents attached below, and found on the below links will always illustrate the Councils most up to date information.
What is an Authority Monitoring Report?
The Authority Monitoring Report reviews and monitors the Local Plan, it assesses the implementation of the Local Development Scheme and the extent to which policies in local development documents are being achieved.
An Authority Monitoring Report is produced and published each year and covers the period from 1st April to 31st March. The first of these Council reports were produced in December 2005.
An Authority Monitoring Report will assess whether policies are achieving their objectives and whether sustainable development is being delivered,
- the assumptions and objectives behind policies are still relevant and
- the targets set in the Local Plan are being achieved
